We're so excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for Challenger All-Star Series, happening July 4-6th at Confederation Park Baseball Diamonds.

This free, action packed weekend is all about celebrating our incredible athletes with:

  • 3 days of games, skill challenges, and community fun
  • Special guests, including the Jays Care team

There is no fee to register!

Summer Ball Tryouts Minor/Major

We're excited to announce tryout dates for the 2025 Little League Alberta Summer Baseball Program. If your player is looking to extend their season and continue developing their skills, we encourage them to come and try out
Tryout Dates Minor:
  • May 19th 6:00-8:00 PM Confed 1
  • May 22nd 6:00-8:00 PM Confed 1
  • May 30th 6:00-8:00 PM Confed 1
Tryout Dates Major:
  • May 24 2:00-4:00 PM Confed 2
  • May 25nd 2:00-4:00 PM Confed 2
  • June 2nd 6:00-8:00 PM Confed 2
Please attend as many tryouts as possible for the fairest evaluation.
What is Summer Ball?
Little League Alberta offers an exciting extension of the season for players. From late June through the August long weekend, this program provides an opportunity for players to grow their skills and continue playing baseball throughout the summer.
  • Teams will travel within Alberta, with a small chance of travel to Saskatchewan.
  • Travel is mandatory, and all travel costs are the responsibility of each player and family.
  • Tournament locations will be determined based on host associations.
  • We hope to form multiple teams in the Minor division.
  • Weekly practices will be scheduled.
Registration Fee:
  • $250.00 per player
  • Includes a jersey and a hat that players keep
Eligibility:
  • Open to players who have participated in at least 8 regular season games.
  • All eligible players may try out, but not all players are guaranteed a roster spot, depending on numbers and available volunteer coaches.
Summer Ball Season Schedule:
Preliminary Seeding Weekends (teams must attend at least 2 of 3):
  • June 20-22
  • June 27- 29th
  • July 4-6
Regular Summer Ball Weekends (teams must attend at least 2 of 3):
  • July 11-13
  • July  18-20
  • July 25-27
Championship Weekend: August 1-4

The purpose of Confederation Park Little League is to assist our youth in developing qualities of discipline, teamwork, courage and loyalty.  The Little League Baseball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

T-Ball

Young players take their first swing at the exciting world of baseball.

  • For players 4-6 years of age
  • Entry-level baseball program to instruct the fundamentals of the game, covering throwing, catching, hitting and fielding.

  • In this age group, players receive more hands-on instruction in baseball skill
