Established in 1967, Confederation Park Little League has been a cornerstone of youth baseball in its community for over five decades. Rooted in the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development, the league was founded during Canada's centennial year, marking a period of national pride and community growth.
Located in South West Edmonton, the league began as a small initiative to give local children an opportunity to play organized baseball. Over the years, it has grown into a well respected program that welcomes players of all skill levels, from Tee ball to Junior divisions. Generations of families have passed through the league, with many former players returning as coaches, volunteers, and proud parents.
The fields at Confederation Park have witnessed thousands of games, countless home runs, and lifelong friendships formed under the summer sun. More than just a sports league, it has become a place where children learn perseverance, build confidence, and experience the joy of community.
Today, Confederation Park Little League continues to thrive thanks to dedicated volunteers, community support, and a shared passion for the game. As it moves forward, it remains committed to its founding vision: creating a fun, inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and play ball.
